In the beginning....

Today is the first day of my blog! Thank you to my new friend who inspired me.... What a neat way to compile your life for all to see...

My friend that introduced me to the blog had the absolute coolest title for his blog. I tried and tried to be creative. There are so many facets to me... How to I encapusule them in a single title?? I jotted down several words, even visited our friend the thesaurus... What sums me up? Probably, what I'm most passionate about is being REAL... Not putting on a front, or any heirs, not fitting into a mold or a box, not living to please anyone, but simply being GENUINE. Keeping it real, as they'd say in the hood :) I settled for Traci's Truth... The truth of who I am - my thoughts, my passions, my hopes and dreams...

I've always thought of myself as an open book - probably TOO open... I've had to learn healthy boundaries in the past couple of years (thank you, sweet Glo)... I guess this is way of making it open for all to see...

I believe that everything happens for a reason.. Good or ill, someone will benefit. Maybe this blog (what a funny word) will somehow encourage or inspire.. maybe it will make you think, I hope it will make you smile :)

I'm anxious to see how this will develop.. what a neat idea...

Here's my truth, folks... Hope you enjoy, hope you smile, maybe you'll be inspired, maybe your soul will be touched...sheesh! am I hoping for too much??
