I am so grateful
for new beginnings
and new friends

God's grace
and the prayers of friends
that get me by when I cannot do it myself

Friends that see in you what you don't
And have the courage to tell you

Friends that hold up your arms
for the journey
when yours are weak

Friends that will cry
with you when you need to cry

Friends that listen
and encourage
remind you that you are brave
and how far you have come
when you are blinded by the journey
